Hey Everyone! This marks the kick-off of the new Future-Focused content architecture.
If you missed the change, Fridays will kick it all off with a live Q&A about several of the biggest events at the intersection of business, tech, and people. That will be followed by my podcast dropping the following Monday as a deeper dive and application into one of the topics from the Friday Q&A. Wednesday will continue the rhythm, taking an even deeper, more reflective examination of Monday’s topic in written form on Substack.
Now, the Q&A is multi-streamed so you can catch that here, on YouTube, or Linkedn. Totally up to you. The podcast will be in video form on YouTube and audio on all your favorite listening apps (keep in mind it’s a shorter, 30-min, format but more structured).
There we go. With that, this week’s Q&A covered three topics and went extended because of the viewer questions.
They were:
HBR – “AI-Generated Workslop Is Destroying Productivity”
Futurism – “ChatGPT Is Blowing Up Marriages”
LinkedIn / Reuters – “ChatGPT Adds In-Chat Shopping”
Now, on to the specific questions. Without further ado, here they are:
HBR – “AI-Generated Workslop Is Destroying Productivity”
How can AI amplify destructive communication habits?
What happens to accountability when AI crafts your message?
What guardrails are needed for AI in high-stakes communication?

LinkedIn / Reuters – “ChatGPT Adds In-Chat Shopping”
If AI is the new gatekeeper, how do you make sure it recommends you instead of burying you?
What trust and transparency risks come with AI moving from suggestion to transaction?
What strategic shifts must leaders make when AI becomes the new search and store?
Alright, that’s it for this week. I hope you found it helpful, and if you did, would you consider saying thanks by buying me a coffee or lunch?
I’m still pulling together topics for next Friday, but one topic for sure will be all the noise around Accenture laying off 11,000 employees. There’s a lot more to the story than meets the eye, so it will likely also be my deep dive. Then again, with the pace of change, who knows. It could all change over the weekend. :)
If you have suggestions, things on your mind, or new things pop up, you’re also welcome to send them my way. I do this work for the benefit of my community, so I want to make sure I include the things that matter most to you.
With that, we’ll see you on the other side.
